Yoga for Stress Relief with Danielle Osicki
Special 6-week Series, Wednesdays 4-5pm
September 15th - October 27th (no class held Oct. 20th)
The practice of yoga is well demonstrated to reduce the physical effects of stress on the body. It is one of the primary reasons people often begin and continue a yoga practice. People find they are more relaxed after practicing Yoga. We have a tendency to store chronic stress not only in our nervous system, but distribute it throughout the musculature, tissues and organs causing physical discomfort and over time illness. Yoga can be a valuable tool for releasing this stored stress. Whether you are new to yoga or a longtime practitioner, everyone will benefit from slowing down, releasing tension and learning to relax.
